Identity is one's appearance to themselves and others. Passion is what you love doing. These two ideas get very confused because identity does have an effect on what you love to do. However, passion is one's motivation to suffer for that thing. You can be emo but still have a passion for cats. You can be have a heart of a soldier and still love playing with legos. Though passions do change, are identity doesn't. Our Identity is something that should be held tight to only what God thinks of us and not the world.
